Desert Ironwood & Horshide Blued Alaskan

Immediately upon completion, James quickly declared this one to be his favorite Alaskan he's made so far, and it's easy to see why. The blade is hand forged from 3/16" thick high carbon 01 tool steel and it measures 4 3/4" from tip to guard with a razor sharp hollow grind, hammermarks, and our forced patina blued finish. The blued steel guard is soldered in place above black fiber, copper, brass and horsehide spacers that pair remarkably with the premium desert ironwood burl handle. The blued steel butt cap is pinned through the tang with copper and the overall length measures 9 3/8". Ready for whatever the woods may bring, this ultra tool comes in a Warlander Leather pouch.
