This bad ass new Alaskan from Behring Made™ is slightly smaller than what's become one of our top-selling knives of all time, and the lighter weight immediately appeals to me as an outdoorsman that's mindful of weight without sacrifice of capability. Sure, you wouldn't want to get too heavy on this one with something like batoning, but for all-purpose cutting tasks from boxes, to camp food prep, cleaning fish or carving up an elk this guy is a dreamboat. We forged this guy from 1/8" thick high carbon 01 tool steel and it measures 3 1/2" from tip to guard with a razor sharp hollow grind and a hammermark finish. The brass guard is soldered in place above black fiber, copper and brass spacers as well as a gorgeous sambar stag handle that's been pinned through the tang with brass. The overall length measures 7 3/4" and it comes in a Warlander Leather pouch sheath.
