This incredible fish harpoon point was sourced from the Bering Strait. This seal bone tool was carved and utilized by ancient Inuit tribes roughly 4,000 years ago. The harpoon would be fastened to a spear and was designed so the point would break off in the target- truly remarkable hand crafted engineering from such a primitive and demanding environment. It measures about 1 3/4" long and will be the delight of anyone with an interest in early human history.
