Scagel Style Pintail
This new Pintail from Behring Made™ is a hats-off tribute to the great Bill Scagel. We hand forged the 1/8" thick high carbon 01 tool steel blade and ground a double clip spine on there just like some his own work. It measures 3 3/4" from tip to guard with a razor sharp convex grind too. The brass guard is soldered in place above a stack of black and maroon fiber, green canvas and horsehide leather spacers that flow into the sambar stag butt that we pinned with brass. The overall length measures 8" and I've got it in the shown Warlander Leather pouch sheath, though substitutions can be made upon request.
