All of our knives are handmade, one at a time. Although we do our very best to recreate the knives as ordered, each knife will vary slightly in shape, size, material consistency, etc. This of course, is the beauty of buying a handmade knife—it will never be the same as the next one.
Case by Case Return Policy
We handle returns on a case-by-case basis with the ultimate objective of making our clients satisfied and happy. We stand behind our goods. We'll always do our best to take care of you. We do apply returns to the tender it was purchased with. We do not accept refunds or exchanges after 7 days of delivery of the item.
•To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be returned with the sheath (not applicable on kitchen knives).
•To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
•To return your product contact email@example.com for return instructions.
•You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable.
•Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.
•We are not responsible for any damage or loss in transit.
Do you take everything back?
We'll do our best to take care of you, but from time to time we cannot accommodate a return if no record of sale is available. Without a receipt or an online / email confirmation of your order sent by us to you, we will not refund or exchange the item. We also do not refund or exchange custom engraved, stamped or embroidered items.
Order time varies based on the complexity of the order and the availability of special materials. Current lead on custom orders is roughly 4-6 weeks.
In-stock knives ship within 5 business days from the day that the order is placed.
We accept most major credit cards. We also accept Paypal, Venmo, money-orders, and checks. All payments must be made in full before a product is shipped to the customer.
All domestic shipments will be sent via USPS with no marked commodity. All shipments are sent without insurance unless you select to have it insured at your cost. Behring Made Knives assumes no liability to packages lost, stolen or damaged in transit once the label is processed. If you want insurance, an expedited shipment, or a different carrier, these special requests must be noted at time of purchase.
All international shipments will be sent via UPS, FedEx or USPS with a commodity of "CUTLERY" for the full value of your shipment. If you need a signature for delivery, would like expedited shipping, etc. you must declare so at the time of purchase. Once the shipment is processed, Behring Made Knives is not liable for items lost, stolen, or damaged in transit.
