Artifact Walrus Ivory Blued Letter Opener
This breathtaking new Letter Opener from Behring Made™ is hand forged from high carbon 01 tool steel and it measures 3 3/4" from tip to guard with a razor sharp double hollow grind, hammermarks and our forced patina blued finish. The blued steel guard is soldered in place above black fiber and copper with musk ox boss, and two pieces of gorgeous artifact walrus ivory that's been repurposed from ice-testers used to ensure safe density on ice for walking, hundreds to thousands of years ago by Alaskan Natives. The overall length measures 8" and it comes in a Behring Made zipper case. A real head-turner at the office!
