Randall Knives and revered Alaskan guide Tommy Thompson teamed up in the early 50's to design his version of the do-it-all-knife. Known by Randall collectors as the model 11, it's an iconic shape and our hats are off to the history of this remarkable blade with our Behring Made™ interpretation- a shape I use on my own elk hunts. This one is hand forged from 3/16" high carbon 01 tool steel and it measures 4 3/4" from tip to guard with a razor sharp hollow grind and our hammermark finish. The nickel silver guard is soldered in place above black fiber, aluminum, copper and musk ox boss spacers as well as a high-figure cocobolo wood handle with a remarkable cross cut grain. It's pinned with aluminum and the overall length comes out to a measure of 9 3/8", plus it comes in a Warlander Leather pouch sheath. You can't beat this one!
