This unique project from Behring Made© started with a customer supplied brass L.F&C 1918 trench knife complete with spiked brass knuckles and a solid brass skull crusher- except the blade was missing. We could have done any number of things but chose a 6 1/2" razor sharp double edge with hammermarks and our forced patina blued finish. We sweat soldered the blade in place and did the same with skull crusher, sand-blasting and then also applying the same bluing to the brass for a matted out look that's ready to do some really dirty work. If you have a handle similar to this one and would like to discuss a revival, just contact me at 406-304-5641 or grant@behringmade.com.
