Steller's Sea Cow Drop Point
This outstanding new Drop Point from Behring Made™ features a handle made from the rib of the extinct Stellar's sea cow that swam the oceans through the Pleistocene period- to think of the life of such a vast creature (up to 8800 pounds) while holding this knife in hand is a remarkable thing. The blade is hand forged from 3/16" thick high carbon 01 tool steel and it measures 4 3/4" from tip to guard with a razor sharp hollow grind and our hammermark finish. The brass guard is soldered in place above black and white fiber with aluminum and copper spacers- all of which compliment the deep root beer tones of the gorgeous bone that's also pinned through the tang with brass. The overall length measures just under 9 1/2" and it comes in a classic Warlander Leather pouch sheath.
