This beastly old Camp knife comes from James' father Jim Behring's shop, aka Treeman Knives. It's hand forged from 1/4" thick high carbon 01 tool steel and it measures 7 3/4" from tip to guard with a razor sharp convex grind. It's stamped with a Scagel Kris, J. Behring Handmade, the retired Treeman logo and USA stamps. The brass guard is soldered in place above black and maroon fiber, ivory micarta, aluminum and horsehide leather spacers which top a premium sambar stag butt that's pinned through the tang with brass and inlaid in the butt with a 14mm compass. The overall length measures about 12 3/4" and it comes in a Jack Mosher custom sheath.
